Internships & Mentorships

Liguori Academy and our Career Cohort Partners are proud to offer our students real-world work experiences. Students will learn to manage their time and work collaboratively in fast-paced corporate environments. Internships and Mentorships are a requirement for 11th and 12th grade students. Drama Club

Love to act? Love to sing along with musicals and watch live performances of original and classic plays? Join Liguori Academy’s Drama Club! All the world’s a stage, and you can be sitting in the front row!

Circle of Friendship Club-Bracelet Making

Bracelet Making Club at Liguori Academy is where creativity, active meditation, and self-expression come together to create beautiful and unique bracelets! Our club is a haven for students who love working with beads, threads, and other materials to design and craft their own wearable art.

Photography Club

Using cell-phones, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the technical aspects of photography, practice their skills in the field, and receive feedback on their work. Workshops may also include group discussions, post-processing instruction, and other opportunities for photographers to connect and learn from one another.

Robotics Club

Liguori’s very own Vulcan Mechanics inspires and empowers students to explore the exciting world of robotics, fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. Through hands-on experience and collaboration, students compete against other schools, while preparing students for success in STEM fields and beyond.

E-Sports Team

Due to the popularity of Liguori Academy’s Gaming, we partnered with Nerd Street Gaming to create a fully-functional, competitive E-Sports team that will compete for the gaming supremacy across the city. We have all the state of the art tech to make this team a success enough to bring home the gold for the home team. A gaming team? Sign me up today!

ABC Training Center

Jump start your college or career path with the offerings in our ABC Training Center. Students have the opportunity to attend trade-school style educational programs, gaining valuable certifications like OSHA-10, OSHA-30 and in the trades like Electrical, Carpentry, Heavy Equipment Operators, Plumbing, and more.

Gaming Club

The Esports Team at Liguori academy is where gaming meets teamwork, strategy, and competition. Our team is dedicated to celebrating the exciting world of esports and providing students with opportunities to compete, connect, and excel in their favorite video games. The Casual Gamers play single player games.

Woodworking & Craft Club

Woodworking Club is a haven for students who are passionate about working with wood, creating beautiful and functional pieces, and exploring the art of craftsmanship. Whether you’re a seasoned woodworker or a beginner looking to learn new skills, our club is open to all skill levels and backgrounds.

Student Government Club

The Student Government Club is where leadership, advocacy, and community service converge to empower students and shape the future of our school. As members of the Student Government Club, students are committed to representing the voice of the student body, implementing positive change, and fostering a vibrant and inclusive school community. Students are nominated by teachers and meet weekly.

Liguori Leaders - Travis Manion

The Liguori Leaders- Travis Manion club represent Liguori Academy in various events such as Open Houses, Thank-Athons, and more. With the help of the Travis Manion Foundation, students will experience workshops and hands-on experiences. Members of this club develop essential leadership skills, from effective communication to problem-solving and teamwork.

Student Ambassador Corps

The Student Ambassadors are the best of the best of the best Liguori Academy has to offer. These hand-selected students will lead Open Houses, introduce potential new students to the Liguori family, craft letters to those who have so generously donated their time and resources to our community, just to name a few of their awesome responsibilities. NHS

The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Students will be invited to join based on last year’s academic performance.

Interact Club

The Interact Club at Liguori Academy is dedicated to serving our local communities through meaningful volunteer projects and service initiatives. Meeting twice per month, Liguori Academy’s partnership with the Rotary Club, are dedicated and committed to making a positive impact around us.

Choir Club

Chess Club

The Chess Club at Liguori Academy is where strategic thinking meets friendly competition! Our club provides a welcoming environment for students of all skill levels to come together and enjoy the timeless game of chess. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a beginner looking to learn, there’s a place for you in our club.

Boy’s Basketball

The Liguori Falcon’s basketball team is built on a foundation of hard work, discipline, and respect. Under the guidance of our experienced coach, Buddy Hall, the team is guided by principles of leadership and accountability. Tryouts are open to all grade levels in the fall and all participants are responsible for practices after-school and on the weekends until mid March. The Falcon’s compete against state and local schools and show up ready to win.

Girl’s Flag Football

The Girls Flag Football Team at Liguori Academy is where athleticism, teamwork, and empowerment take center stage. Partnered with the Philadelphia Eagles, our team is a proud representation of female athletes who are passionate about football and committed to competing with skill, strategy, and sportsmanship.
