The Fortis Program

The Fortis Program at Liguori Academy is an accelerated learning program in partnership with the School District of Philadelphia. This credit recovery program allows students to earn the credits they need to graduate from high school. The Fortis Program engages students through a blended learning environment that utilizes both classroom instruction and online components, all of which is data-driven and tailored to the needs of each student.

The Fortis Program offers a familial culture with a strong emphasis on socio-emotional learning. Students work at their own pace and have access to their teachers through our open doors policy. The small-by-design class sizes give teachers the ability to provide one-on-one instruction. The program engages students through meaningful academic courses, socio-emotional education, post-secondary counseling, and student-teacher relationships. Students also have the opportunity to engage in Liguori Academy’s student life activities outside of class time.

Whether a student's goal is to make their way to college or go directly to the workforce, The Fortis Program prepares them for whatever is next on their journey for life.
