Taste the City. Support the Future: Taste of Liguori 2026
Philadelphia, PA, April 22, 2026 - Liguori Academy
Philadelphia, PA — Liguori Academy’s Fourth Annual Taste of Liguori will take place on April 23, 2026, from 5:30-8:30PM at Liguori Academy. This signature culinary celebration brings together more than 20 of Philadelphia’s best restaurants, bars, and beverage partners for an evening of exceptional food, connection, and community impact.
Guests can enjoy sample bites and beverages from across the city while connecting with fellow supporters, students, and staff. More than just a night out, Taste of Liguori offers a meaningful opportunity to experience the Liguori Academy community firsthand while supporting its mission to offer an affordable career and college-ready program.
Among this year’s impressive lineup are several familiar faces — partners who have been part of Taste of Liguori since the first event in 2022. Their continued support has helped shape the event into what it is today, and their return each year reflects a shared commitment to the Liguori Academy community.
Liguori Academy is excited to welcome back Tony Luke’s, Kismet Bagels, Defined Hospitality, and Jacquin’s! Read more about each business and learn more about some of the tastings below.
Tony Luke’s
Tony Luke’s has redefined the Philadelphia sandwich scene. Known for specialty favorites like the roast pork Italian and chicken cutlet, its cheesesteak, added in 1992 after overwhelming demand, remains a fan favorite.
Tony Luke’s sources top-quality ribeye directly from Midwest cattle farms, ensuring all meat is all-natural, antibiotic-free, and hormone-free. Its produce is grown locally in Southern New Jersey and prepared in the Luke Family’s Philadelphia commissary.
What began as a South Philly sandwich shop has grown into an internationally recognized brand with 17 locations across the Mid-Atlantic. Featured in Gourmet Magazine, GQ, The New York Times, and inducted into Philadelphia Magazine’s Hall of Fame, Tony Luke’s continues to make its mark. Founder Tony “Luke” Lucidonio Jr., a South Philly native, is also an entrepreneur, actor, and musician, with appearances on shows like Man vs. Food and Throwdown with Bobby Flay.
If anyone knows how to bring the flavor to Taste of Liguori, it’s Tony Luke’s! Make sure to grab a cheesesteak at this year’s event!
Kismet Bagels
As the name suggests, Kismet Bagels was truly meant to be. Founders Jacob and Alexandra Cohen began baking during the COVID-19 pandemic, quickly perfecting a bagel that was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
What started as a hobby quickly became a mission. After sharing bagels with family and neighbors, the couple began selling them to raise funds for Project Home, supporting individuals experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia.
Today, Kismet Bagels has grown into a thriving business with three locations — Fishtown, Rittenhouse Square, and Lower Merion — along with catering services and nationwide shipping. Despite its rapid growth, the company’s commitment to community remains strong.

Defined Hospitality
Defined Hospitality brings together some of Philadelphia’s most celebrated dining destinations, including Suraya, Condesa, El Techo, R&D, Pizzeria Beddia, Kalaya, and Picnic. Each concept offers something distinct, from vibrant Middle Eastern cuisine to some of the most talked-about pizza in the country.
With locations across Fishtown and Center City, Defined Hospitality is not only known for exceptional food, but for thoughtful design, hospitality, and a commitment to pushing Philadelphia’s culinary scene forward. Several of its restaurants, including Pizzeria Beddia, Suraya, and Kalaya, have received recognition in the Michelin Guide, further cementing its reputation for excellence.
Defined Hospitality has been a longtime supporter of Liguori Academy and its mission, hosting students for shadow days, pop-up hosts at restaurant events, and more.
This year, Pizzeria Beddia, Suraya, and Picnic will be serving guests at Taste of Liguori, and they always deliver unforgettable flavors!
Jacquin’s
Founded in 1884, Jacquin’s is America’s oldest and Pennsylvania’s largest cordial producer. Charles Jacquin et Cie., Inc. has a rich history of crafting fine, old-world cordials and is deeply rooted in Philadelphia.
Family owned and operated for three generations, Jacquin’s is known for its ready-to-drink cocktails, Pennsylvania Dutch Egg Nog, and a wide variety of spirits. Jacquin’s facility is located on the same street as Liguori Academy, just two blocks away!
Jacquin’s continued support brings a distinctive flavor to Taste of Liguori year after year.
Taste of Liguori is more than a celebration of Philadelphia’s culinary scene, it’s an opportunity to directly support Liguori Academy students. Proceeds from the event help provide access to a career-connected, college-ready education for young people across the city.
