Celebrating the 9th Annual Boundless!
Philadelphia, PA, August 25, 2025 – Sammy DiGeorge
Liguori Academy will host its 9th Annual Boundless Celebration on October 30th at The Vie, bringing together supporters and community members for an unforgettable evening filled with dancing, gratitude, and Boundless Love. This year, the celebration takes on a new rhythm as guests “bring the groove to the city” with a special live performance by the legendary Earth, Wind & Fire, generously sponsored by Liguori’s Chair Emeritus, Ray Mirra.
The 2025 Boundless Celebration promises to be a night to remember, an inspiring blend of joy, community, and recognition, as Liguori Academy presents three outstanding awards.
Boundless Award | The Greene Family and Aldrich Foundation
The Boundless Award, inspired by the charisma of St. Alphonsus Liguori, is presented to an individual or organization of the Liguori Academy community who embodies the spirit of Boundless Love. It honors those who believe deeply in our mission to prepare future leaders through individualized learning in a community that offers boundless opportunities. The recipient(s) continuously fosters partnerships and relationships that advance and strengthen the mission of Liguori Academy.
Established in 2021, Aldrich Foundation is a private foundation with a simple but powerful purpose: to help others and improve lives. Guided by a deep commitment to creating meaningful and lasting impact, the Foundation focuses on medical advancement, support for veterans and first responders, and educational equity.
The founders of the Aldrich Foundation, Bill and Christine Greene, exemplify a profound commitment to philanthropy. Bill, a veteran of the United States Navy and former CEO and leader in healthcare technology, brings vision and innovation to the Foundation’s work. Together with Christine, a retired high school English teacher, they are unwavering in their dedication to supporting at-risk students and expanding access to transformative, high-quality education.
One of the Foundation’s most meaningful partnerships is with Liguori Academy in Philadelphia. The Aldrich Foundation played a pivotal role in sparking the school’s capital campaign, providing the generous contribution that made it possible to purchase not one but two buildings, establishing a permanent home and campus for the Academy. This transformational investment reflects the Foundation’s deep belief in equitable education and opportunity for all students.
With vision, generosity, and steadfast leadership, the Aldrich Foundation continues to make a lasting difference in communities, for veterans, and in the lives of young people across the country.

Recipients of the Amore Award have shown true Boundless Love to our students and strengthened the mission of Liguori Academy through their support.
Steve Smith is currently Chairman Emeritus at Brandywine Global, where he advises the global investment team. A dedicated supporter of education and community development, Steve has spent much of the past decade creating and supporting initiatives that foster academic excellence and opportunity.
A proud alumnus of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, Steve established the Center for Capitalism at his alma mater, demonstrating his commitment to preparing students for leadership in the modern economy. His philanthropic efforts extend to Philadelphia, where he refurbished St. Rose of Lima Grade School and supported the successful transition of Our Lady of Mercy School, which earned a Blue Ribbon for Academic Excellence. At OLM, he also introduced a scholarship program to encourage members of the Hispanic community to attend Catholic school.
Steve’s contributions continue at Lancaster Catholic High School, where he helped convert the second floor into a STEM Center and most recently transformed the library into a state-of-the-art Learning Center with advanced audio-visual capabilities. Through the Union League, he has been involved in launching a national program aimed at teaching and reintroducing the U.S. Constitution to high schools across the country.
An avid collector of art and artifacts, Steve and his wife, Jenifer, are both deeply committed to supporting Liguori Academy. As early champions of the school’s capital campaign, they are helping to bring new life to the historic fourth floor, soon to be named the Smith Center for the Arts, including the refurbishment of the 19th-century Shakespeare Theater and state-of-the-art sound booth. Their dedication ensures that generations of students will have access to a rich cultural and artistic environment.

She has since made history as the first woman elected to Senate Democratic Leadership and now serves as Democratic Whip.
For years, she chaired the Senate Labor and Industry Committee, where she led efforts to raise wages, strengthen worker protections, and modernize Pennsylvania’s unemployment system. She authored Pennsylvania’s landmark minimum wage increase in 2006, fought to end mandatory overtime for healthcare workers, and helped create the Pennsylvania Center for Health Careers to address workforce shortages.
Senator Tartaglione has also been a champion for voting rights, disability advocacy, and public safety. She serves on multiple key committees, including Intergovernmental Operations, Legislative Budget & Finance, Consumer Protection & Professional Licensure, Labor & Industry, Law & Justice, Rules & Executive Nominations, and Ethics.
